Generation ‘Z’ is inheriting a planet in peril. They are determined to save it. They want to take nature back into the boardroom. Grab the attention of Governments and CEO’s to act now.
“We live in a strange world, but it is the world that my generation has been handed. It’s the only world we’ve got”.
– Greta Thunberg
THE HARD FACTS
The world’s 7.6 billion people account for just 0.01% of all life on Earth. But we have destroyed 83% of wild mammals and 50% of plants’ biomass. Urgent action is required to:
Protect forests, grasslands, mangroves, deserts and oceans. Protect the Ice shelves of Antarctica and Greenland. Reduce cattle farming to prevent land clearing and increased greenhouse gases. Reduce the use of palm oil to prevent deforestation, threatening species to extinction. Reduce carbon emissions and the use of fossil fuel. Pull carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere. Prevent over-fishing of our oceans. Reduce pollution and the human footprint.
Over three quarters of the continent of Antarctica is supported by ice shelves, the floating extensions of glaciers that protect the land-bound ice behind them.
Scientists are discovering new vulnerabilities that could weaken those walls from above and below, with catastrophic effects. The planet will survive – the human race won’t.
We need to work together to combat global warming and help prevent rising seas.
Prevent super trawlers from emptying our oceans. Protect marine reserves.
Ban single use plastic. Keep all plastic out of our oceans.
The Protection of Our Planet is on everyone’s lips. The “save our planet” awareness campaign spans all generations.
The message is clear: Protect Our Planet for future generations and the 8.7 million species we share it with.
THE MAN-MADE CLIMATE CRISES
Cyclones, typhoons and hurricanes are fuelled by warming seas.
Islands, atolls and coastal cities are under threat from rising sea levels.
Orangutans in Borneo are under threat from loss of habitat and poaching.
The Amazon rain forest is burning, threatening species and indigenous people.
Elephants and rhinos are facing extinction from drought and poaching due to human greed.
Polar Bears are starving from loss of habitat, melting ice and disappearing marine life.
Bees are endangered due to pesticides, global warming and habitat destruction.
No bees means no humans within four years.
TIME is running out. The ICE is MELTING
there is a mounting crisis…
OUR LAST BEST CHANCE TO ACT IS NOW
We must change :
what we eat
what we wear
how we live
Or it won’t be a matter of if but when we reach the tipping point and PLANET EARTH PUSHES BACK.
